Traveling & Birthdays.

Currently flying over Amarillo, Texas and heading to California. I always forget how long the flight from Nashville to California is. In my head it’s about a 2 hour trip but then I’m always up here in this plane for what feels like forever and then I realize I still have forever to go. But I do love traveling. It’s crazy to fly over so much land and see the patterns of the fields and the winding shapes of rivers and giant pools of water. I’ll never get over how cool it is that our world is so full of unique landscapes filled unique cultures filled with even more unique individual people. God is so creative.

I almost get stressed out thinking about all of the places I want to go and all the people I want to meet. But then I just have to tell myself I’ll go to all the places and meet all the people someday in heaven:)

But for all the people I hope to meet, I already have some of the best people alive, in my life. And this week, some really really special people in my life have their birthdays. And to those people I want to say a BIG thank you for being in my life. Thanks for loving me. Thanks for encouraging me. Thanks for making memories with me. The more I travel, the more I realize that the people truly make the place. The most beautiful places aren’t near as beautiful if you don’t have people you love to share them with.

To Kelsey, April, and Caroline - You’ve made Nashville a million times more beautiful. Thanks for showing me tough love and joyful love inside and outside of small group.

To Grandma P - You’ve made every place you are in Minnesota (or anywhere) a wonderful place to be. I love you so much.

I could write for a loooooooooong time about the four ladies mentioned above, along with my other friends that have birthdays this week, because I love words. So I’m just going to leave it short and sweet:)

ps. tell the people you love, that you love them.
